In December of 2020, Wake Forest School of Medicine, the Academic Core of the new Atrium Health, released two COVID-19-focused RFAs. The first RFA called for COVID-19 research projects that align with principles of the Academic Learning Health System, while the second RFA's goal was to assist ongoing research teams that have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
These are the recipients of Round 1 of these Pilot Awards.
