Office of Sponsored Programs

The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) is responsible for all pre-award and post-award activities for all sponsored research at Wake Forest University Health Sciences. OSP is also responsible for the development and communication of institution-wide policies specific to sponsored programs.

OSP provides support and guidance to faculty and administrators by facilitating proposal submission; reviewing, negotiating and accepting contracts; managing awards as well as ensuring compliance with institutional, agency and sponsor policies as well as performing accounting activities such as financial account set up, institutional reporting, financial close-outs and assisting with audit inquiries.

OSP’s ultimate goal is to support sponsored research by providing exceptional service, expertise and educational opportunities for both faculty and staff while maintaining a collaborative model of stewardship among all institutional faculty and staff.
