A Working Group

The Program in Community-Engaged Research (PCER) actively pursues partnerships to enhancing K-12 student learning and engagement.

STEM Program participants

Primary objectives:

  • Increase exposure to biomedical and health careers while actively engaging students and teachers in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math
  • Build trust
  • Increase students' interest in science
  • Enhance the science workforce pipeline in our community
PCER leverages our Speakers Bureau to conduct Science Outreach within under-resourced and traditionally marginalized communities.
