Navigating through Data/Analytic Expectations: An Overview of Differences among Funding Agencies

On Wednesday, October 23rd from 3pm to 4pm ET, join Jane Pendergast, PhD, Professor Emeritus within the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at Duke University School of Medicine as she discusses perspectives and requirements of various funding agencies can affect a Biostatistician's responsibilities—ranging from the formulation of an initial grant’s analytic plan to the reporting of findings and data-sharing expectations post-grant. This seminar aims to highlight the disparities among different agencies, providing guidance for successfully navigating your role within a collaborative team, and potentially leading the team on these issues.

Co-sponsored by the Duke Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics and the Duke Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design (BERD) Methods Core, this event is also being promoted by the NC BERD Consortium. The Consortium is a collaboration of the CTSA-funded BERD cores at UNC-Chapel Hill, Wake Forest University School of Medicine, and Duke University School of Medicine.
