The NIH-funded Academic Learning Health System Scholars Program (aLHSSP) postdoctoral training is designed to provide scholars with the methodological and professional skills to conduct research in the complex environments of health systems and to disseminate and implement the research findings into practice.
This two-year, full-time postdoctoral training program provides a stipend, time for research, and full tuition support to pursue graduate school training, including an MS in Translational and Health System Science, with the guidance of a multidisciplinary mentoring team.

Eligibility
- The applicant must be a US citizen, noncitizen national, or permanent resident (Green Card holder) with a doctorate (MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, DNP or similar degree).
- Participants must devote 40 hours/week to the education and research activities associated with this program for the full training period. (A small number of hours per week may be spent on clinical or other duties.)
- Applicants with a previous T32 or similar appointment should inquire regarding eligibility.
- The program is committed to selecting a diverse pool of candidates, particularly with respect to NIH underrepresented status (under-represented minorities, disability status, disadvantaged status) and gender and ensuring that potential biases of our faculty, staff, and scholars do not impact the hiring process.
