Research Studios

Promoting multi-disciplinary team formation, Research Studios have been implemented as a way to incorporate diversity within teams that can translate innovations to specific plans. Relevant Investigators, clinical leaders, and experts will come together to solve problems, present issues, and discuss the possibilities of growth in translational science. This service allows investigators to seek assistance from research experts relevant to their particular research topic.

Team Effectiveness Consults

Teamwork is one of the most challenging and rewarding aspects of our work. In teams, we can accomplish far more than we can as individuals, and yet we struggle to form and maintain high functioning teams, as well as to manage the interpersonal dynamics they create. We now have resources available to support the team development process within our organization.

Team Consultations		Individual Consultations
Teams may request time with a Team Science Consultant for a series of meetings wherein the team will be guided through activities and discussions that support team success. Some common topics of these meetings include creating a team charter, planning for team success, avoiding common team issues, and delivering results. Teams requesting this service are asked to commit to three team meetings with the Consultant during which all team members are present to participate in the conversation.		Often, we find ourselves in situations with team members that would benefit from a conversation with an objective consultant. Team Science Consultants are available by request to help you think through options for addressing team issues, or generate ideas for your own development as a team member or team leader. These can be one-off discussions or a series of meetings, but we ask that if you request this type of service, you make yourself available for a one-hour meeting to ensure that you have time to truly address the issue or concern you are seeking to discuss.
