The MARCH-CTSI Community and Stakeholder Research Engagement (C&SE) Program works to improve community and population health through promoting and facilitating community-relevant and engaged research. Most resources provided such as the voucher award are geared toward supporting community members, representatives of community organizations, providers, investigators, and research teams with the overarching goal of increasing research access and participation.
The Voucher Award Program helps to address key barriers resulting to low community engagement, involvement and participation in translational research. The program provides financial support to address critical needs such as transportation, caregiving, advertisement and other challenges that often hinders research access, thus limiting communities’ ability to engage in research initiatives that directly affect their day-to-day lives. Your research matters! The Voucher Award Program is here to support the discovery of new therapeutics that improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve.
