We are thrilled to announce the 2026 Community Partnered Research Award, a unique funding opportunity designed to foster dynamic partnerships between non-profit community organizations and academic faculty throughout the Southeast Region of Advocate Health. This award aims to strengthen trust, build skills, and support innovative research that addresses persistent challenges in community health.
To be eligible, the community partnered researcher must work for a non-profit community organization or local government agency serving the Southeast Region of Advocate Health, and the academic faculty researcher must hold faculty rank within Advocate Health institutions, including Atrium Health, Atrium Health Navicent, Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, Wake Forest University School of Medicine and Wake Forest University. The award provides academic faculty with support for 10% effort and grants $10,000 to community partner researchers. All awarded funds must be used within a one-year project period, and no-cost extensions are not permitted.
