Atrium Health employees must have a wakehealth.edu email account to access research applications with the exceptions of OnCore and eIRB, which can be accessed with an Atrium Health email. Employees can set up a wakehealth.edu email account and request access to other research applications through a Service Now request. Scenario A:
You did not receive a “Welcome Letter” and package from HR’s Contingent Workforce with provision of account information and temporary password. (Welcome package includes: Welcome Letter, Instructions to Install MDA-Android, Instructions to Install MFA-iPhone, Maintaining Multiple Email Accounts document, and RSA SecurID Install Instructions).
Solution:
1) Contact Wake’s Service Center for a temporary password as your original would have expired by now - you can call Atrium Health’s Service Center at 704-446-6161 - press 1 for Technical Support, then press 5 for Enterprise Academic Applications, including Research Application Support. Your call will be automatically transferred to Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist’s Service Center (336-716-4357). Alternatively, you can call AHWFB’s Service Center directly (336-716-4357).
2) Contact Wake’s Service Center for MEDCTR ID, Wakehealth email address and temporary password.
Scenario B:
You did not activate your account when you got the welcome letter/temporary password.
Solution:
Wake Service center needs to provide new password.
There are 2 ways to reach the Service Center:
1) You can call Atrium Health’s Service Center at 704-446-6161 - press 1 for Technical Support, then press 5 for Enterprise Academic Applications, including Research Application Support. The call will be automatically transferred to Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist’s Service Center (336-716-4357).
2) Alternatively, you can call AHWFB’s Service Center directly (336-716-4357).
You need to be behind the Firewall for access.
In order to get behind the firewall, you will need to log into a Portal for WFBMC. Access portal here: https://wakeportal.wakehealth.edu. If you have trouble accessing the portal, contact the service center.
If you need to read a policy, you may access the “Read- Only Access” section of the website once you are behind the firewall. In order to get behind the firewall, you will need to log into a Portal for WFBMC. Access portal here: https://wakeportal.wakehealth.edu. If you need to sign-off on a policy per department guidelines, you need to put in a Service Now request to access the "Employee Access” section of the website. You will need to be behind the firewall to see and sign-off on the policies.Atrium Health Employees:
