We are pleased to invite you to a special upcoming event,Collaboration in Action: A Joint Pilot Program Hosted by the Wake Forest Center for Artificial Intelligence Research (CAIR), the Wake Forest Maya Angelou Research Center for Healthy Communities (MARCH), and the Wake Forest Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma (CIPT).
This collaborative forum will feature a keynote presentation by Rebecca Rebbe, PhD, assistant professor at the school of social work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She will deliver a talk titled, “The Intersection of Data Science and Pediatric Trauma: Applications and Lessons Learned" offering insights into how data-driven approaches can improve outcomes and inform best practices in pediatric trauma care.
The agenda also includes brief presentations and a panel discussion from Wake Forest University School of Medicine researchers, a breakout networking session, and a catered lunch. At the event's conclusion, details about a joint pilot award totaling $50,000, aimed at fostering innovative, interdisciplinary research that leverages artificial intelligence to advance pediatric trauma care and community engagement, will be announced.
