Celebrating Excellence in Research: 2025–2026 Dean’s Research Commendation Award Honorees

Wake Forest University School of Medicine proudly announces the 2025–2026 recipients of the Dean’s Research Commendation Award, recognizing faculty whose exceptional research contributions are shaping the future of science, education, and innovation across our academic enterprise.

This distinction honors investigators among the most accomplished in our research community—those whose work continues to drive discovery and improve health for all.

Out of nearly 700 investigators, 23 faculty members have been awarded the Dean’s Research Commendation to recognize their extraordinary impact and dedication to excellence in scientific achievement at our institution.
