Join the D.I.V.E. - Data Integration, Visualization, Evaluation team for an introductory presentation on EPIC’s Cosmos led by DIVE – Midwest Research Programmer, Alex Biskis. "Researcher Toolbox: Unlocking Research Potential with EPIC’s Cosmos” will be presented virtually on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Noon ET or 11:00 AM CT.
EPIC’s Cosmos database is a collaboration of participating health systems that allows researchers to access over 300 million deduplicated patient records. With the help of the Midwest and Southeast DIVE team, researchers will have programmers who are trained in navigating and querying the Cosmos database, both through Cosmos’ SlicerDicer and virtual machine tools. Single health system research can pose many different limitations and barriers, but with Cosmos’ database, what previously was impossible, now may be feasible.
