We are excited to announce the launch of the Community Advisory Council on Stroke Care, dedicated to engaging stroke survivors, caregivers, and community leaders in improving stroke outcomes and resources in our region. Council members will share their experiences and provide valuable feedback on stroke-related projects within the Comprehensive Stroke Center at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.
- Meetings will be held monthly for one hour, either in-person or virtually, to ensure flexibility and inclusivity for all participants.
- Members will receive $60.00 per meeting for their contributions.
- The council requires a one-year commitment, with an option to renew, and is seeking 12 individuals residing in Forsyth County, North Carolina.
This important work is generously supported by funds from The Winston-Salem Foundation. If you are interested in participating or would like more information, please contact Dr. Eseosa Ighodaro at Eseosa.Ighodaro@AdvocateHealth.org.
Join us in shaping the future of stroke care in our community!
