CTSI Education has expanded its educational programming to better support clinical research professionals across Advocate Health and Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
The latest offerings include live, instructor-led classes on essential topics such as
- Research informed consent
- Regulatory reporting
- Safety reporting
- HIPAA compliance
In addition to these synchronous sessions, CTSI now offers over 20 asynchronous modules tailored for roles such as research coordinators, nurses, data managers, and regulatory specialists. A standout feature is the new Curriculum Selector, a REDCap-based tool that enables learners and their supervisors to build customized education plans aligned with role-specific competencies.
To reinforce learning through practice, CTSI has also introduced interactive data simulations that allow users to apply concepts in realistic scenarios—such as determining eligibility criteria or entering data using the Encompass/Epic environment. Together, these innovations reflect CTSI’s commitment to dynamic, role-relevant, and practical education for the clinical research workforce.
For scheduling information on these classes and to explore all upcoming CTSI educational events, learners are encouraged to regularly check the CTSI calendar.
