Service Now Available: Language Access Program

June 23, 2025

Ensuring research reaches everyone! The Wake Forest Community and Stakeholder Research Engagement Program (C&SE) works to improve community and population health through promoting and facilitating community-relevant and engaged research.

The C&SE Program provides services to support and facilitate collaboration among community members, representatives of community organizations, providers, investigators, and research teams with the overarching goal of increasing research access in the translational science research spectrum.

One of the services provided to boost this level of engagement is the translation support service with the Language Access Program. The program helps researchers translate study materials such as surveys, informed consent forms, and other documents into other languages such as Spanish through a paid translation service offer by a language expert By breaking down language barriers, the C&SE Language Access Program helps researchers and staff foster collaborative partnerships, improve data quality, and expand engagement to a broader network of communities within the research space, thus increase access for communities with historically low research engagement and involvement
