Vice Dean for Faculty Affairs:

This role will oversee all functions of the office to enhance and provide strategic and tactical oversight for all faculty development, experience, employment actions, and policy matters for the School. The Vice Dean will partner with other academic leaders (e.g., Department Chairs and Center Directors) to recruit and retain faculty; design and implement faculty and leadership evaluation processes; develop approaches to improve faculty wellness and resilience; and lead initiatives pertaining to faculty development on all campuses affiliated with the medical school. Senior Associate Dean for Appointment, Promotion, & Tenure:

This role will provide leadership and oversight of the programs responsible for appointment, promotion, and tenure actions for faculty in all tenure and non-tenure career paths. Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Experience & Success:

This role will be responsible for conceptualizing, implementing, and overseeing new, creative, and modernized programs, policies, and initiatives to support the career success of faculty. This individual will serve as a resource for faculty and leaders while overseeing programs designed to support faculty growth and development, such as: Recognition and Appreciation, Professional Growth and Development, Day-to-Day Experience, Wellness and Resilience, Coaching and Leadership, Loyalty and Retention, Diversity and Belonging, Transparency and Equity, Faculty Surveys and Feedback, and Faculty Mentoring. Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Well-Being:

This role will be responsible for developing and leading well-being initiatives for faculty across the Enterprise with the goal of improving the professional experience (including physical, mental, and emotional well-being) of all faculty. This highly integrated and matrixed role will collaborate with leaders across the organization to develop, implement, and evaluate programs that will be integrated into WFUSM’s culture. This role will report to the Vice Dean for Faculty Affairs.
