We recently received questions from some Researchers related to research participant compensation. When you use checks as the form of payment, the name of each study participant that has been paid via that method will show up in the CORE Connect expense reports. While this is not considered a study violation, we care deeply about keeping the identity of our study participants confidential.
We encourage all Researchers that have participant compensation activities in their studies to use ClinCard. This web-based program allows study teams to provide their research participants with reloadable cards for electronic real-time payments, once all approvals have been secured.
