· Brief presentations by representatives from NIH, the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, and the Burroughs-Wellcome Fund, advising participants of current funding priorities
· A “pivot panel” including senior researchers sharing lessons about when and how to pivot research direction or how to manage unanticipated obstacles in one’s research trajectory
· Breakout sessions moderated by experienced investigators, allowing for more in-depth discussion and tailored guidance
