MSRD 2020 Keynote Address

We are pleased to announce that the MSRD keynote address will be presented by John Buse, MD, PhD from the UNC School of Medicine. Dr. Buse is the Chief, Division of Endocrinology and Director of the Diabetes Center at UNC. He also plays a significant role in research administration as the Executive Associate Dean for Clinical Research and the Director of the NC Translational and Clinical Sciences Institute.

Dr. Buse will share about his own academic career of success built on failures and discuss the career paths available to students in an academically-oriented residency. As a teacher and clinical researcher, Dr. Buse believes that the evolution of diabetes care over the last 30 years is a microcosm of what is happening in every field and that no one is better prepared to tackle the important issues of the future than today's students.

The MSRD keynote address is at 1pm on Wednesday, October 14. All are welcome to attend the keynote address but you must register to receive the WebEx link. Register Here.
