Fluorescence-based in vitro Drug Screening for Hepatic Porphyria Exacerbation in 2D Hepatic Cell Models

To determine whether different liver cell culture models (HepG2, LMH cells, and organoids of primary liver cells from normal human controls) could be utilized to predict porphyrogenicity of drugs and chemicals.

• What inspires you to do research?
  I believe that one of the most effective ways to advance science and medicine is through research, and my desire to contribute to the overall scientific field is what inspires me.
• Where do you hope to do your residency and why?
  Most of my family lives in the east coast so I would love to attend any internal medicine program close to family.

  In my free time, I spend time with my dog, attempt to teach him new tricks and manage his Instagram profile (@drtuckerpupper).
