The Qualitative and Patient-Reported Outcomes (Q-PRO) Shared Resource is pleased to announce their Qualitative Research Bootcamp. Early career faculty and trainees (Doctoral students, postdocs, residents, fellows, etc.) affiliated with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, Atrium Health, or Levine Cancer Institute are invited to apply for this 4.5-day intensive bootcamp, designed to equip participants to independently develop and conduct a small qualitative research project.
Training will include:
- Foundations in Qualitative Research: Providing an overview of qualitative methodology and rigorous study design, qualitative data collection, and qualitative data analysis.
- Qualitative Data Collection: Covering each phase of data collection, from designing tools and conducting interviews and focus groups, to managing the collected data.
- Qualitative Data Analysis: Learning about various analysis techniques, including traditional and rapid analysis, how to develop and use a codebook, and how to develop themes from your coded data.
The bootcamp is offered at no cost and will accept a maximum of 10 participants. Read more details in this flyer.
