The Wake Forest Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) is pleased to announce the formation of its CTSI Cabinet Members and appointed Leadership Fellows for its newly funded UM1, K12, and T32 Programs through the National Center for Advancing Translational Science (NCATS).
The CTSI Cabinet, which meets monthly, is comprised of the CTSI MPIs, Associate Directors and leaders of each of the seven distinct modules and programs, along with the Program Directors of the CTSA companion grants, the K12 and T32. The CTSI Cabinet will specifically focus on discussing opportunities of synergy and coordination among programs and approaches to overcome challenges.
In an effort to nurture the next generation of CTSI leaders and provide opportunities for early- and mid-career faculty to gain experience in program administration, the CTSI is launching its inaugural group of Leadership Fellows. This initiative builds on the successful program of our NIA Older American Independence Center and will allow the CTSI to expand the number of institutional CTSI advocates, bring early- to mid-career voices into decision-making, and help cultivate future programmatic leaders.
