Wake Forest Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) introduces the Team Grant Accelerator program. The purpose of this program is to support planning, pre-award, and post-award stages to incentivize investigators to pursue new large awards while aiming to foster collaboration and enhance grant success rates.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Wake Forest University School of Medicine faculty at any rank and regardless of their WFUSM Centers or Institutes affiliation are eligible to apply.
- Faculty must fill out the Intent to Submit Team Grant Application before submitting the proposal to the sponsor.
- Examples of of eligible funding mechanisms: P01, P30, P50, P51, P60, U19, U54, UM2, RM1, and other non-NIH mechanisms.
- The project must be either new or a competing renewal.
- Wake Forest University School of Medicine must serve as the prime site for the project.
- The project must receive direct support exceeding $1M per year for at least 3 years.
- Indirect Support: The project must have indirect support (F&A) at the NIH or PCORI level.
Other grants or mechanisms not specified may be eligible. Applications should be submitted to prompt a discussion with the Research Vice Deans to determine official eligibility.
