Wake Forest CTSI Introduces The Team Grant Accelerator Program

Wake Forest Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) introduces the Team Grant Accelerator program. The purpose of this program is to support planning, pre-award, and post-award stages to incentivize investigators to pursue new large awards while aiming to foster collaboration and enhance grant success rates.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Wake Forest University School of Medicine faculty at any rank and regardless of their WFUSM Centers or Institutes affiliation are eligible to apply.
  • Faculty must fill out the Intent to Submit Team Grant Application before submitting the proposal to the sponsor.
  • Examples of of eligible funding mechanisms: P01, P30, P50, P51, P60, U19, U54, UM2, RM1, and other non-NIH mechanisms.
  • The project must be either new or a competing renewal.
  • Wake Forest University School of Medicine must serve as the prime site for the project.
  • The project must receive direct support exceeding $1M per year for at least 3 years.
  • Indirect Support: The project must have indirect support (F&A) at the NIH or PCORI level.

Other grants or mechanisms not specified may be eligible. Applications should be submitted to prompt a discussion with the Research Vice Deans to determine official eligibility.
