The CRU Laboratory has met all of the criteria for Laboratory Accreditation by COLA Inc., a leading national laboratory accreditor, whose program and standards enable clinical laboratories and staff to meet United States Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA) and other regulatory requirements.
Accreditation is given to laboratories that apply the highest standards of quality in day-to-day operations, demonstrate continued accuracy in the performance of proficiency testing, and pass a rigorous on-site laboratory survey. The CRU Laboratory has earned COLA Inc. accreditation to provide quality service for its participants and study teams.
Laboratory Excellence Award
In addition to meeting the criteria for COLA Laboratory Accreditation, the CRU Laboratory has been selected as a recipient of the COLA Laboratory Excellence Award. This award signifies our Laboratory's commitment to performing quality patient testing and superior overall laboratory practices. The Laboratory Excellence Award is achieved by those COLA laboratories that are compliant with all COLA essential and required criteria at the time of their on-site survey. In addition, award recipients must have demonstrated successful proficiency testing for the prior three testing events and have no substantiated complaints against the laboratory. Our on-site survey on October 12, 2023 yielded a perfect score with zero deficiencies.
