The Program in Community-Engaged Research (PCER) is now accepting letters of intent (LOI) for the $30,000 Community-engaged Cooperative Agreement Award.
The cooperative agreement award is designed to build long-term collaboration through research partnerships, requiring at least one representative from a community-based organization and one Wake Forest investigator to share responsibilities as co-PIs. This award’s primary focus is the development of community-engaged research, community-based participatory research (CBPR), or citizen science projects.
PCER will provide support to the awardee team through meetings with PCER directors and staff at least monthly and attend Core Working Group meetings at least monthly to discuss progress and study-related benchmarks, trouble shoot roadblocks, and harness broad PCER experiences and expertise in community-engaged research and other PCER resources.
