Huron Research Suite Update!

Records created and training videos for self-paced education.

April 20, 2020

The Office of Sponsored Programs would like to update the research community on system related activities, since the April 1, 2020 go-live.  Through April 16th, 50 proposal records have been created and one of those was successfully submitted electronically through Grants.gov to NIH.  In addition, 71 agreement records have been created in the system. This is a fabulous start to the usage of the Huron Research Suite, and we appreciate the interaction we have had with the research community to date on this transition.

As reminder, we have training videos posted that enable a self-paced educational experience.  We do ask that all users access this link to view and record successful completion of this educational video series.

We are also continuing our twice weekly open house sessions on Tuesdays, 10-10:30am and Fridays, 1:30-2pm, through May 1st.  We encourage individuals that have questions about the utilization of the software to join us.

The Office of Sponsored Programs is moving rapidly into the next phase of system utilization and rollout, in the setup and configuration of the grant award modules.  Stay tuned for updates on our next phase in the coming weeks ahead.
