Research Performance Progress Reports
The Office of Management and Budget has mandated that federal agencies implement a federal-wide research performance progress report, the Research Performance Progress Report (RPPR), for submission of required annual or other interim performance reporting on research grant and cooperative agreement awards to standardize recipient reporting on federally-funded research projects. Effective July 2013, NIH is mandating the use of the RPPR for projects that were previously eSNAP eligible and for fellowship awards.
FISMA Data Security Requirements
Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002 (FISMA) provides protection against threats for federal information systems. The law instructs each federal agency, vendor, or contractor to develop, document, and implement an institution-wide program to provide information security. Compliance with FISMA will ensure the continuous availability, confidentiality, and integrity of data and supporting technology.
