This advanced hands-on class will discuss the important physiological aspects of controlled ventilation, basic clinical criteria for ventilators, and how to use the different systems. We will also review basic monitoring. Non-rodent Anesthesia Techniques class should be taken as a prerequisite.
Objectives:
Be able to identify early signs of complications, perform basic troubleshooting techniques and know when to contact vet staff
