Recordkeeping in the Rodent Research World



This course  will review the required recordkeeping for rodent research, as well as provide template forms and “best practice” ideas.  This course is strongly recommended for all rodent users; as training for new researchers and as a refresher for experienced researchers.

 



Objectives

* Understand the responsibilities of the research team to assess animal welfare of their experimental animals.

*Know how to maintain proper surgical, post-operative and daily observation records.

*Understand and use a Health Assessment Rubric for rodents.
