The 2018 Medical Student Research Day will be held on Wednesday, October 10. The keynote address, “Insights into Orthostatic Intolerance in Children: A Multidisciplinary Team Effort” will be presented at 12:15 pm in Babcock Auditorium by Dr. Debra Diz, Professor in Surgery Hypertension and Co-Director of the Cardiovascular Sciences Center. Dr. Diz will share her experience about this clinical research project and the multidisciplinary team of basic science and clinical faculty, trainees, and staff who collaborated to successfully conduct this research.
Eighty-eight Wake Forest School of Medicine students will present their research projects during a poster session in the Commons Conference Rooms and Exhibit Hall from 1:15 - 4:00 pm.
