The Harvard Catalyst is sponsoring the 2018 Fundamentals of Clinical and Translational Research (FaCToR), an online curriculum providing an overview of the concepts of the spectrum of clinical and translational research from first-in-human studies to healthcare interventions implemented on a population level. Content includes: designing rigorous research studies; selecting appropriate tools for data acquisition and storage; identifying and addressing ethical issues; operating within regulatory frameworks; communicating your findings to colleagues and leaders in the field; and funding your research.
The course runs from August 15th through November 9th and will require a time commitment of 3-5 hours per week. As a CTSA institution, Wake Forest trainees, staff, and faculty with an MPH, MD, PhD, DMD, or equivalent are eligible to apply. Online application is due by August 3, 2018.
