As a part of the continued services that the CTSI is committed to offering to our faculty and staff, OSP has lead the development of an electronic tool to assist with incoming faculty who are transitioning to Wake Forest School of Medicine from another institution.
This tool incorporates general questions regarding the new faculty member and is intended to cover areas such as the transfer of grants and contracts, equipment, lab materials, data, animals, human subject protocols, animal protocols, EH&S topics, and potential IT needs among others.
In order to ensure a smooth and timely process, faculty are strongly encouraged to complete the Faculty Transfer Form as early as possible in order to ensure that activities are initiated and/or completed prior to coming to Wake Forest, when applicable. Completion of the transfer form will generate a customized checklist to assist the faculty member in conjunction with the appropriate departmental administrative staff in on-boarding the new faculty member.
