We are pleased to announce a new spreadsheet available to help streamline the budget process when a new award or new funding is received! As noted in the November RA session, the Budget Tool is intended to:
- increase accuracy (for us and you, as the people we ask to review chartfield setups)
- reduce future slowdowns (missing combo codes, rebudgeting requests, etc)
- make the process between “the award is here” and “we can spend” more efficient.
Although it’s already available online, we’re offering hands-on experience for those who would like to walk through the sheet with experts standing by for assistance. Currently, two sessions are scheduled:
Carpenter Library, Classrooms A & B
10-11am Wednesday, November 29, 2017
10-11am Monday, January 8, 2018
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED: Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org, indicating which session you would like to attend. Each session will be filled in the order in which we receive responses. If we run out of room, additional sessions will be scheduled. Please bring a budget example or two with you.
