What a City Eats: Examining the Dietary Preferences of Families living in Communities at High Risk for Food Insecurity

Our primary objective was to gain a greater understanding of the dietary patterns, food preferences and meal preparation methods among families living in food insecure neighborhoods who utilize a community-based hunger relief program in Forsyth County. The ultimate goal is to better understand community dietary patterns in order to address food insecurity in a more culturally effective manner and improve utilization of nutritional programs.
